ATLE is excited to offer this opportunity to all Alberta educators and interested educational IT professionals in conjunction with ARPDC and Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School! Whether you're in Edmonton, Calgary or beyond, this opportunity is one you won't want to miss if you want to learn from the pros about 3D printing - whether from new curriculum, how-to, or IT perspectives - while being immersed in an innovative maker lab environment. See you in Okotoks on April 21st at 12:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

Enjoy an afternoon workshop designed to give educators and IT professionals an immersive experience into connections between maker spaces, 3D printing and the new K-6 science and math curriculums. Participants will first learn how design and entrepreneurial thinking frameworks can leverage this work in sustainable and scalable ways, explore curricular connections and resources in smaller Division 1 and Division 2 working groups and then use 3D printing to manufacture a simple classroom resource to assist with this work. IT professionals will have time to interact with our Design Technician and IT team to consider resourcing, troubleshooting and health and safety implications.

ATLE Members: $40.00

Non Members: $50.00

Cancellation/Refund Policy – Cancellations received prior to April 14th will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee.  After April 14th, no refunds will be available.  At any point, a registration may be transferred to another individual.  Questions or refund requests should be e-mailed to the Executive Director.
