The goal of this workshop is to inform Alberta’s education community of the many tools and services that Cybera offers or is piloting to create efficiencies and improve the use of technology in the education sector. Also to demonstrate the advocacy efforts that Cybera is doing to improve Alberta ICT opportunities, and invite feedback into this and other focus areas.

This session will be delivered by representatives from Cybera’s project management, network administration, and executive teams. Cybera is a not-for-profit technology-neutral organization responsible for driving Alberta’s economic growth through the use of digital technology. Its core role is to oversee the development and operations of Alberta’s cyberinfrastructure — the advanced system of networks and computers that keeps government, educational institutions, not-for-profits, business incubators and entrepreneurs at the forefront of technological change.

This workshop will be of interest to network administrators, education technology experts, and department administrators.
