We are committed to providing spaces that level us all up across the province through online and in-person events, enabling us all to take part in sharing our expertise in a true professional learning network format.

AGENDA:

This month we are focusing on ideas to support student literacy using AI at school. Whether students are banned from AI use at school or encouraged to use it, we'd like to showcase work around the province by some of our AI lead teachers who are supporting student literacy through resources, scaffolded materials, student guidelines and more. Short and to the point, and as always, the time will fly by.

Our agenda conversation is leaning towards...

- begin with some IT-related comments - maybe about vibe coding, maybe about student AI literacy, and maybe something else (still TBD)

- next, Nicole Lakusta, who shared a wealth of truly awesome student AI resources at Emerge, will share these same resources with us today

- together, we decide which our favorite resources are and how they can be used to support what we're doing in our divisions

- we'll end with a focus on Nancy Lake's hot-off-the-press student use infographic

Once again, this might shift a little, but right now we've landed right here! Thanks to our AI PLN leadership team for stepping up again to share their work with us all.
